Individual Energy Upgrade Grants
For homeowners and private landlords who want:
- Individual energy upgrades
- To manage their own project
- To apply for the grant themselves
- To pay for full cost of works and claim grant afterwards
Kingdom Installation Ltd. have upgraded over 6,000 private and social houses and apartments in the past 7 years
Eligibility
- Homes built and occupied prior to 2011 are eligible for Insulation and Heating Control Upgrades
- Homes built and occupied before 2021 are eligible for Heat Pumps and Renewable Systems.
Steps required to complete an Individual Energy upgrade:
- Choose your Energy Upgrade grant(s)
- Choose Kingdom Installation as your approved SEAI Contractor
- Apply for your Grant
- Accept your Grant Offer
- Complete the works
- Post Works BER Assessment
- Grant Payment Request
Additional Information
- Please note that grants for windows and doors are not available under the Individual Energy Upgrades option but are available as part of the One Stop Shop service.
- There is no grant funding for replacement oil or gas boilers.
- Allow between 4 & 6 weeks for all grant payments ( Note: Some installations may be subject to a home inspection by SEAI which will impact payment timelines)
